Product Description
The Cheetah Mounts ALAM1 is a fully articulating LCD arm mount that tilts 20 degrees, swivels 180 degrees and extends 14" from the wall. Free your surface space by wall mounting and enjoy complete flexibility in positioning your display. The ALAM1 will fit TVs up to 4in x 4in . This is also known as VESA 100, in which the holes on the back of your unit will be in a square pattern. Many larger LCDs in the 26"- 32" size range will use VESA 100x200 or VESA 200x200. I was pricing mounts for a small flat panel tv for my sons very small room.
The mounts added up to the cost of the tv or more. I then saw this mount for very little $$. I read about it, read the reviews and figured I'd take a chance.
I showed the ad to others who laughed at me.
I could have had the last laugh. This mount is exactly what we were looking for. It mounted easily enough for my son and I to install and it has been in place for over 6 months now.
Why would anyone want to pay more.

So glad I held out on buying one of these at an electronics store-- I would have paid at least 3 times as much for the same functionality. This works just fine on my 19 inch TV, feels sturdy, and I think it was a terrific bargain.

I am using this on my 26" Sharp Aquos LCD tv.
It is functional, and attaches to the wall with 2 screws. It does not have a built in leveling device, so make sure it is straight before you commit to installing the screws. The biggest problem though, is that for a 26" Television, this stand can barely handle the load. It visibly bends when extended, resulting in a crooked-looking mounted tv. It does the job though.

I couldn't believe, Just a
few day and it was here. It
works great in my camper. I
just didn't put the screw on
the shaft when mounting the
15 inch TV and this way I can
remove it when traveling so
the vibration and movement
won't harm my TV. Have a
great day
